Hello there!
I've done my Masters in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology from Yale and then went on to work in the biotech industry for a few years. Since Yale, I also taught Biology and Scientific Research for 2 years at an International high school in the International Baccalaureate system. At Yale and in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, my areas of research were Cell Biology, Structural Biology and Cancer Diagnostics and Therapeutics.
I started my two years of teaching high school biology for IB in the midst of the pandemic. In my first year, all lectures were conducted over zoom. I helped clarify difficult to understand concepts by using YouTube videos and digital white boards. In my second year, in-person classroom lectures and office hours were back which greatly helped all students.
