Hi All,

My name is Raya and I ended up graduating from Syracuse University in 2017 with a dual major is Biology and Forensic Science. I used to tutor younger children from my old middle school and moved up to tutoring adults who wanted to get their GED. I enjoy tutoring because I love helping students gain the confidence in a subject they never had before. I know when I was younger I wish I had the opportunity to get myself a tutor so I try to give students the help I didn't have.

I absolutely love science so much so that I decided to get two different science degrees. I grew up watching the science channel and just seem naturally attuned to the subject. There are tips and tricks that I have been able to master that will help with understanding a variety of science subject and be able to connect them together. Think of science in general as a large web and the specific categories are strands of that web, each is a separate strand but they all connect together to make up the broad term "science".

I try to make lessons fun and easy that it will make learning no longer feel like a chore. We can take our time and go over everything as many times as it takes until you feel comfortable and ready to handle things on your own. Schedule a lesson whenever you need and together we will discover the amazing things science has to teach us!
