I am passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and achieve their academic goals. With more than 20 years of experience in human services, I have dedicated my career to supporting children and adults with learning differences as they navigate success in school, at home, and in their communities.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Boston College. In addition, I earned graduate certificates in Neuroscience and Social Work, as well as Theology and Ministry. This interdisciplinary background allows me to connect concepts across psychology, sociology, religion, neuroscience, and human behavior while tailoring my teaching to each student's unique learning style.
As both a social worker and educator, I understand that every student learns differently. I specialize in creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students can build study skills, improve critical thinking, and gain confidence in challenging subjects. Whether you need help with psychology, sociology, religion, study skills, or developing effective learning strategies, I strive to make complex topics engaging, understandable, and relevant.
My goal is not only to help students succeed on assignments and exams but also to equip them with the tools and confidence to become independent, lifelong learners.
