I am an experienced singer and educator based in Boston. I am an alumnus of Marymount Manhattan College in New York City with a Bachelor's degree in Musical Theatre. I have loved singing for as long as I can remember, and I have trained under the instruction of many talented instructors. This passion for singing has led me to pursue a career as a voice teacher for both aspiring and experienced singers.
I have experience teaching voice to kids, teens and adults. My teaching style is supportive and encouraging–I’ll celebrate your wins while gently nudging you further. I like to pair honest feedback with actionable steps forward. My goal is always to empower you to confidently achieve your vocal goals. We will explore a variety of approaches and personalize your lessons to best fit your unique learning style. Nothing feels better than watching a student succeed, and that’s what I’m here for!
My voice students can expect to improve not only their singing voice, but their overall brain-body connection. Singing is a mental exercise as much as an artistic and physical skill, and it’s a great way to stay sharp and engaged. Students will learn techniques to release built up tension in the body, use breath to support phonation, and properly use the mouth, tongue and throat to create healthy, sustainable singing.
