Hi, my name is Daniella!! I graduated from Brandeis University in 2024 with a BS in neuroscience and a minor in Hispanic Studies. While I was in school I worked in a neurobiology lab and I received a national HHMI award for my work and defended a thesis as well! All that is to say I have a passion for neuroscience and I love helping others understand the field I love so much!! I know it can be daunting and complicated and I would love to help!

I have 3 years of formal teaching experience as a TA for a genetics class in college, and I absolutely loved it! Teaching was the highlight of my undergrad years, and is the reason I am so dedicated to keeping it as a current part of my life years after graduating. In addition to that, I have about 8 years of experience with students from 2nd grade to high school, in subjects mostly centered around science and math, so I am open to students within those subjects.
If you are looking for help in neuro/genetics specifically, or biology generally, we might be a good fit! I am open to longer term students as well as those looking to prepare for an exam!
Here are some testimonials from students I’ve worked with over the years!:
“She provides many different ways to help understand a concept.”
“Extremely approachable. Gives valuable advice outside of class material in terms of research, job opportunities, and reaching out to professors for lab experience. I am lucky to have had her.”
“Daniella’s greatest strength is that she is very good at providing overviews of confusing topics and explaining complex topics in a simple way that allows students to better understand the course material”
“She was always ready to help. She truly has a passion for teaching and you can see that in how well she helps students like myself understand the material. She truly is one of the best TAs I have ever had.”
