I'm Rachel! I graduated from a liberal arts college with a degree in neuroscience in 2023. Since graduating, I have worked in orthopedic clinical research and as a medical assistant at Mass General Brigham. I scored in the top 1% on the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) and will be matriculating into medical school this fall.
Through my experience as a college teaching assistant, varsity sport co-captain, and coordinator of clinical trials, I’ve discovered a real passion for teaching and mentoring. As a future physician, I recognize the importance of clear communication, compassion, patience, and meeting people where they are at with their understanding. I believe these principles apply equally to tutoring and want to be seen as a resource that helps you feel supported and comfortable asking questions. I’ll work to apply my knowledge to your unique learning style!
I offer support with MCAT preparation, biology, neuroscience, psychology, and chemistry, as well as guidance on the medical school application process. I’m also happy to provide detailed feedback on essays and personal statements. I tailor my approach to each student’s learning style and goals, whether you’re aiming to master content, boost confidence, or refine your application materials.
I abide by the philosophy “a rising tide lifts all ships,” and am looking to help others in the same way my mentors have impacted the trajectory of my academic and professional journey.
