I am a Philosophy professor at Bentley University in Waltham, MA. I graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BA in Political Science before obtaining my PhD in Philosophy from the University of Virginia. I have extensive teaching experience (over 20 years) at the collegiate level and have taught at the University of Virginia, the University of Colorado, Old Dominion University and Bentley University. So most of my teaching experience is with college age students. I generally teach in person, but have extensive experience teaching remotely as well.
One of my areas of specialty is formal logic. I have extensive experience with logic (proofs etc.): I studied it in graduate school, have published academic papers in it, and have taught it for over two decades.
The success of my students is always my top priority and I have won numerous teaching awards over the years because of this. I see teaching as a collaborative activity and I will tailor the lessons to you, based upon the particular areas that you need the most work on.
