Dear Student:

Welcome to my home page. My name is Rocio M. I have been a teacher for more than 20 years; I have taught Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and for almost 10 years, Spanish, SAT/ACT preparation and English as a second language. I have also translated a couple of books and manuals into Spanish.

Dear Student:

Welcome to my home page. My name is Rocio M. I have been a teacher for more than 20 years; I have taught Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and for almost 10 years, Spanish, SAT/ACT preparation and English as a second language. I have also translated a couple of books and manuals into Spanish.
I earned a master's degree in Education after an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. As for my teaching philosophy, I do my best to to make the subjects fun, applicable and interesting!
I also hold a yoga teacher's certification.

If you are interested in my services, let's get in touch via Wyzant e-mail. Please send me a note with information about the location for tutoring (I have tutored in public libraries, homes and even cafes,) time and days that would suit you best. Giving me some options and the complete information will help me get back to you faster.

Here is the cancellation or no-show policy that you need to take into consideration if you decide to hire my services:
-Please let me know 24 h before the session if you need to cancel the session.
- If a student cancels the session with less than 24 h notice, there will be a 20 minute charge if the student rescheduled for another day that week.
-If the student cancels on the day of the session or doesn't show up to the session, the cancellation charge is 1 h.
Thank you for your understanding, I will lock the schedule for the student to respect their time, if you let me know ahead of time. I can assist other students who need my help.

I also would like to accommodate small groups of students, this helps with the fee as long as everybody commits to the schedule.

Ms. Rocio always helps my daughter through her lessons/ tests. My daughter dreads geometry but Ms Rocio helps her understand the lessons and my daughter always feels more confidant by the end of each lesson. We are so grateful!!!

Met with her a few times, she is knowledgeable and good but is unavailable most of the time. can't set up a schedule with her to get constant tutoring. Disappointing! In search for a new tutor now.

Very experienced tutor

My son has had 2 Algebra lessons so far. Rocio was able to identify his problems very quickly and tailored classes to improve those particular areas. I can already see grade improvement in the latest test. Thank you!
