Hello Nursing Students
I am a highly experienced, doctoral prepared Nursing Educator. I have practiced locally and globally as a nurse consultant. It has been my pleasure to have taught and mentored thousands of college nursing students over the last 10 years at a highly prestigious university in Boston, MA. I began my nursing career at MGH as a surgical trauma nurse, moved on to multiple roles including clinical professional development specialist, nursing director and provided and implemented curriculum development and simulations to open a new hospital in Shanghai.
My content expertise is Medical Surgical Nursing with a strong passion for simplifying content through anatomy and physiology review via unfolding case studies, Q & A, direct content review and interactive PPT. I will always start by getting to know you through appreciative inquiry so that we can fine tune problem areas. In addition, I offer coaching on test taking strategies and skills to help you be successful on your exams.
I have mentored many students over the last 10 years and have a great passion for teaching. Understanding difficult concepts and application to critical thinking NCLEX style questions is a learned skill. I truly look forward to working with you and becoming a small part of your success in Nursing.
