Hi, I'm Vincent! I'm currently an M1 at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. I graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Healthcare Policy and worked as a research assistant for Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel at Penn Med.

I scored in the 99th percentile on the MCAT (522) in January, 2022. My score breakdown was 132/132 for Chem/Physics (100th percentile), 128/132 for CARS (90th percentile), 131/132 for Bio/Biochem (98th percentile), and 131/132 for Psych/Soc (97th percentile). I believe that thinking like an "MCAT exam maker" while studying and utilizing the right resources for you based on your learning style and background knowledge is critical to doing well on the exam. My previous biochemistry TA experience and passion for physics and chemistry (max score on this section) makes me a great tutor for these sections specifically. I love using figures!

I've been teaching and tutoring for more than 7 years now, and really enjoy helping other students succeed. My favorite interactions are the "aha" moments when things finally click for a student. Over my time teaching science classes to middle school students, tutoring high school students in SAT, AP exams in Physics, Bio, and Chem. I've learned efficient ways of communicating complicated ideas in understandable ways to students. Additionally, serving as an auto-tutorial Biochemistry TA at Cornell, I've mastered concepts in biochemistry and especially in teaching material through the use of figures and directional questioning.
