Bio

I graduated from Yale University, where I studied Applied Mathematics and French. I have experience tutoring across a wide range of subjects and student ages, and I am passionate about helping students truly understand the material. I believe that this way of learning, instead of rote memorization, makes the content more enjoyable and applicable to future courses, tasks, or assessments.

I graduated from Yale University, where I studied Applied Mathematics and French. I have experience tutoring across a wide range of subjects and student ages, and I am passionate about helping students truly understand the material. I believe that this way of learning, instead of rote memorization, makes the content more enjoyable and applicable to future courses, tasks, or assessments.

I was the valedictorian of my high school graduating class and was selected as a U.S. Presidential Scholar. Aside from my tutoring jobs at Yale, I have tutored high schoolers in National Honor Societies, taught young children how to read through the AmeriCorps non-profit Reading Partners, volunteered as a tutor in local community centers, taught private piano lessons, helped students prepare for the SAT/ACT, and reviewed college application essays (with acceptances to Harvard, USC, UNC Chapel Hill, and more).

Enjoyed working with Lily

My experience with Lily tutoring was pleasant. Lily demonstrated how to write a short summary and response, and helped me finish my assignment.
