Having graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College in biochemistry, I understand what it takes to excel in the biological and chemical sciences. I have over four years of tutoring experience in various subjects, including general chemistry, genetics, Spanish, and multivariable calculus. The positive feedback I have received from those that I have tutored has deepened my love for working both with students who are struggling academically and those that simply want to gain a more nuanced grasp of critical scientific concepts.

Amazing tutor!!

Connor is such an amazing tutor. I think it’s especially helpful with a test like the MCAT to have someone help you navigate all of the resources, highlight what’s truly high yield/low yield, and help you plan out your day to day. He made PSETs for me, would give mini lectures on concepts I was struggling with, and gave me an actionable study plan. He is very knowledgeable, and I truly think there is not a question he does not know how to answer / explain to you. I met with Connor 1-2 times a week starting in August through December. I think it was much better money spent than spending money on an online course since you have a chance to really pinpoint your weaknesses and he’s really good at helping you sift through the necessary content. Really could recommend him enough!

An extremely knowledgeable, and patient MCAT tutor!

I started working with Connor after a long journey of self-studying and I wish I found him sooner! Connor will work with you to create a schedule that best fits your needs and though he will give his suggestions, he is always willing to accommodate based on what you think is best for you. He is extremely dedicated to helping you achieve your goals and desired score and shows this through his flexibility in scheduling sessions despite his own busy schedule. In terms of the MCAT content, it is clear that Connor is very knowledgeable about the concepts, formatting of the exam, and what is considered high yield. There was no question - big or small- that I asked Connor that he did not know the answer to. He explained content thoroughly and would often draw or write things out so there was a visual. When I had multiple follow-up questions or was stuck on a particular content point, he was patient and adaptable and was willing to explain things in a different way until I understood. He also promotes active learning by doing teach-back questions with you to ensure that you actually understand the content. I struggled a lot with passage comprehension and in working with Connor, I am now confidently able to tackle all these passages. By doing a lot of practice with him, you gain more and more confidence in understanding and approaching the exam and I have acquired more than I thought! If you are looking for someone who can not only help you with content but overall build the skills to take on this exam, Connor is the guy!

Incredibily helpful MCAT tutor and creates approachable plan!

Connor speaks with a comfortable pace that is both engaging and reassuring. He is also is super knowledgeable with regards to both the logistics of the MCAT and the most difficult concepts that one must understand in order to succeed. He can break difficult concepts into simple, easier to digest pieces. I can’t wait to meet with him for future MCAT and application-related sessions, and feel much more reassured now that I have a steady and organized plan for my upcoming tests.

Fantastic Biochemistry, MCAT, and Medical School Tutor

Connor is a fantastic tutor that is willing to meet you where you're at. When first meeting him, I was struggling with biochemistry in school. Within a few sessions with Connor, I was understanding the more difficult concepts with ease, and my grade reflected this. Connor also helped me prepare for the MCAT, a process that took us around five months. He was patient and kind the whole time, reassuring me and helping build confidence in concepts that I was shakier in. Through a thorough and vigorous plan and lots of hard work, I was able to increase my score from a 501 (Blueprint practice exam) in February to a 526 (AAMC practice exam) in April. Thanks to Connor's dedication and attention to detail, I was able to feel more confident in my abilities and see steady increase in my score. Presently, Connor is helping me build a strong AAMC application, and I cannot wait to continue my work with him!
