At Williams College, I studied chemistry & was a 3-sport athlete. After college, I worked in aging research for a couple years before getting a master's in journalism and working as a freelance writer. In addition to scoring a 519 on the MCAT (130/127/131/131), I have years of professional experience writing and editing.
As someone with a nontraditional path to medical school, I appreciate how the twists and turns in people's journeys to medicine inform what they hope to accomplish in the field.
