Born and raised in Sicily, in a family full of artists, I learned to paint and sing even before I was able to write.
At 10 I started my musical life, becoming part of the children’s choir in one of the main theaters in Italy, Teatro Massimo of Palermo, my hometown.
I started exploring other styles, as jazz and modern music, while studying Education and Teaching Methods at the University. I started teaching 13 years ago and I ended up studying circle singing at Berklee in 2014, where I graduated in 2018.
Driven and enthusiastic teacher with more than 10 years experience, I performed on wonderful stages and I bring all my experience in my unique didactic approach.
I was born and raised in Italy, so Italian is my native language. I also studied Latin and Ancient Greek in High School for my deep passion for philology.
I started my musical career at 10 years old as an opera singer and today I am a Berklee alumni that has explored many styles and musical world. My Berklee curriculum lead me through Indian, Balkan, Gospel, Greek, Microtonal, African and Brazilian music and more!
During my college studies in Italy, I chose a specialization in special needs education and I have been a teacher for children with special needs for more than 10 years. I developed a natural empathy and a level of patience and understanding that allow me to build any learning plan based on the specific needs of the specific students I have in front of me and every time it is a honor to see them grow and grow with them!
