CFA, Finance, STAT, Excel and MATH

CFA Level III candidate. Passed both level I and level II in the first try.
I did my B.Sc and M.Sc in Engineering. I received my Ph.D. in Finance from Boston College. Currently I teach finance courses at Suffolk University.

CFA exam can be hard for candidates with little or no background in finance. It needs a combination of understanding concepts and technical/quantitative skills. Preparing for CFA can be tricky. It requires planning, dedication, a lot of practicing. My style is to first teach you the basic concepts in each topic. It may take some time depending on your background in finance. Remember, CFA has a lot of material; you have to start working on it well in advance. From time to time I've had people sit in my finance classes in college (no charge) just to learn the basic concepts. Afterwards, in one-on-one or group sessions, we will get into the details that are important for the CFA exam based on LOS in each topic/study session.

More than 10 years of teaching and tutoring in various subjects has given me enough experience to provide high quality learning for learners with different educational/academic backgrounds. I have also worked with many international students where language barrier could be a problem. I am very patient in teaching and I do not mind going over a topic several times to make sure you have completely grasped it.
