Bonjour,

My name is Marion and I am a native French tutor/teacher with 15+ years of experience.

I am originally from Paris and have taught French abroad for many years now. I hold a Master's degree in Intercultural studies and Applied Foreign Languages (English/Spanish) from the University of Limoges and Sorbonne Nouvelle.

I am passionate about teaching French, I love transmitting my love for my native language, and the joy that comes from speaking it.
What sets me apart is that I have learnt many languages and had a lot of languages teachers too. I know what it feels like to learn a foreign language, especially French, when things do not seem to make sense at first, and questions need clear answers.

Some of my past experiences include:
• Teaching at the Alliance Française of Atlanta, GA.,
• Working as the French teacher for an after school program for Korean native speakers; teenagers aged 11 to 17, Houston, TX.,
• Teaching French as a Second Language (FLE) to English speaking children going to French immersion programs in Toronto, Canada,
• Tutored SAT French subject test,
• Helped improved oral and writing skills to beginners, and advanced learners.
• Taught French in corporate offices,
• And, as a certified TESOL teacher, taught English to international students in Canada.

I use grammar books, but also songs, poems, short stories and art to create a real interaction and engagement so that you can improve quickly.
