Hi I am Shari, an experienced Spanish Teacher / Tutor. I have been a teacher for more than 20 years in both middle and high school. I am licensed for grades 5-12. My masters degree is in Multicultural Education. I have an excellent relationship with the students I work with. Proven track record of success in helping students improve their language skills, including increasing their proficiency in reading, writing and speaking. I have helped many students build confidence in speaking the language. I believe that language learning is most effective when it is connected to real - world contexts. I bring my knowledge from my masters degree as well as my traveling to Spanish speaking countries to my students.

I am experienced in tutoring students from varying educational levels and abilities. I can tutor for finals / AP exams as well as preparing students for their day to day work in Spanish class. I utilize a variety of teaching methods, including immersive activities to cater to diverse learning styles. Each lesson has a variety of activities to meet their needs. Students on Individual Learning Plans do very well with me. Dedicated to creating a positive learning environment and inspiring students to reach their full potential.
