I hold an MBA in Finance from RIT and a Master’s in International Relations from Harvard. I’ve spent 20+ years working in capital markets and derivatives, and have done valuation and financial analysis for real estate acquisition and development deals. You’ll learn how DCF, WACC, NPV, and financial statement analysis are actually used to value companies and make investment decisions, not just how to plug numbers into formulas.

I hold an MBA in Finance from RIT and a Master’s in International Relations from Harvard. I’ve spent 20+ years working in capital markets and derivatives, and have done valuation and financial analysis for real estate acquisition and development deals. You’ll learn how DCF, WACC, NPV, and financial statement analysis are actually used to value companies and make investment decisions, not just how to plug numbers into formulas.

My approach: find exactly where your understanding breaks down, rebuild it with clear intuition, then lock it in with practice that mirrors your course, your textbook, and your professor’s exams. I regularly work with texts like Berk/DeMarzo, Brealey/Myers, Kieso, and Bodie/Kane/Marcus.

Common topics: time value of money, bond and stock valuation, capital budgeting, cost of capital, capital structure, CAPM and portfolio theory, ratio analysis, cash flow statements, revenue recognition, leases, cost allocation, and break-even analysis. I also help MBA students build and check Excel models for case assignments.

Former students have gone on to Big 4 firms, consulting, investment banking, and corporate finance roles.

Fantastic Finance Tutor! Highly recommended

I worked with Ayham for a week to prepare for an MBA finance final exam. When we started working together, I was completely lost and was drowning in an entire semester's worth of equations and financial concepts (everything from time value of money, discounted cash flows, capital budgeting, bond and stock valuations etc...).
