I have previous experience tutoring the SAT and ACT math sections and I genuinely love it. Originally I was worried that studying math and chemistry lacked practical applications in which I can help people directly. Tutoring bridges that gap perfectly, as I can help students with their confidence, thought process, and of course their scores. I know there are so many intelligent and hardworking students that simply need an open opportunity without judgement or scrutiny. I seen that in both high school and university. For my qualifications, I graduated from umass boston with a bachelor's in chemistry (GPA: 3.94). The only reason I had a high GPA was because I loved tutoring, and teaching is honestly the best way to study from my experience. I tutored throughout university in math ranging from algebra to calc II and I was a teaching assistant for general chemistry, organic chemistry and analytical chemistry. Although my love for chemistry is intrinsic, being able to help people is the main reason I continue to pursue tutoring today. That is why I also have experience doing voluntary tutoring for students in Afghanistan.
