I am a junior at Boston University's Questrom School of Business, concentrating in Finance with a 3.7 GPA. My academic foundation is complemented by hands-on experience across wealth management, equity research, and real estate private equity, including internships at Potomac Wealth Management, Leaf Group of New York, and a PGIM Real Estate program through Project Destined. These experiences have given me a practical, applied understanding of finance that goes well beyond the classroom.

Beyond technical finance, I have a genuine passion for helping others navigate their career paths. At Questrom, I was selected as one of six Career Skills Coaches out of fifty applicants, advising peers one-on-one on resume writing, interview preparation, and internship search strategy across finance, consulting, and other business tracks. I also founded BU's first Wealth Management Club, where I organize speaker events and programming around portfolio construction and financial planning.

In tutoring sessions, I focus on making concepts concrete and applicable. Whether a student needs help with accounting, financial modeling, corporate finance coursework, or preparing for finance and consulting recruiting, I tailor each session to their specific goals. I work best with college students and motivated high schoolers who want to understand not just the material, but how it connects to real-world careers.

Approved Subjects

ACT English

ACT English

As a Boston University student and LOCK tutor, I help students sharpen the grammar, punctuation, and rhetoric skills that ACT English tests. I teach the specific rules the test repeats, like comma usage, subject-verb agreement, and concision. I also show strategies for eliminating wrong answers quickly. Each session uses official practice questions and targets the student's weakest question types.
ACT Math

ACT Math

As a Finance major at BU's Questrom School of Business, I use algebra, functions, and quantitative reasoning every day. I tutor students through LOCK and help them review the core topics ACT Math covers, from algebra and geometry to basic trigonometry. I focus on timing strategy and recognizing common question patterns so students can work faster and more accurately.
ACT Reading

ACT Reading

I'm a Boston University student who reads dense material every day, from financial reports to research, and I tutor through LOCK. For ACT Reading, I teach students to map passages, find evidence quickly, and avoid trap answers under time pressure. Sessions use official practice passages and build both speed and accuracy.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

I'm a junior Finance major at BU with a strong quantitative background, and I tutor students through LOCK. Algebra 2 concepts like exponential and logarithmic functions, polynomials, and systems of equations show up constantly in finance, so I can explain both the how and the why. I teach step by step and connect topics to real examples like compound interest to make them stick.
Business

Business

I'm a finance student at Boston University's Questrom School of Business with internship experience across equity research, wealth management, and real estate private equity. I also work as a Career Skills Coach at Questrom, where I help students with business fundamentals, communication, and career prep. I can help with intro business courses, case analysis, business writing, and connecting classroom concepts to how they actually work in practice. My approach is practical and conversational, with real examples from my internships to make the material stick.
Career Development

Career Development

I work as a Career Skills Coach at Boston University's Questrom School of Business, where I help students with resumes, cover letters, networking, and interview prep. I've also been through competitive finance recruiting myself and landed three internships across equity research, wealth management, and real estate private equity, so I know what actually works from both sides. I can help with resume and LinkedIn reviews, building a networking strategy, mock interviews, and mapping out a recruiting timeline. My style is direct and practical, focused on the specific next steps that move your search forward.
Chess

Chess

I've been playing chess for 10 years and am currently rated 1300 on Chess.com. I focus on helping beginner and intermediate players build a strong foundation: opening principles, basic tactics like forks and pins, and the thought process behind picking a move instead of just memorizing lines. I also tutor other analytical subjects like poker and math, so I'm used to breaking down strategic thinking into steps students can actually follow. Lessons are hands-on, playing through games together and reviewing the student's own games to find patterns worth fixing.
Elementary Math

Elementary Math

I'm a Finance student at Boston University and a tutor through LOCK, and I enjoy helping younger students build confidence in math. I focus on number sense, operations, fractions, and word problems, using simple explanations and real-life examples like money. I keep lessons patient and encouraging so students build the foundation they need for later math.
English

English

I am a junior at Boston University's Questrom School of Business with a 3.7 GPA, and I tutor students through LOCK, BU's academic honorary society. My coursework and professional work require constant writing, from research reports to client-facing memos, so I know how to help students read closely and express ideas clearly. In sessions I focus on grammar, structure, and building a strong argument, and I tailor every lesson to the student's assignments and goals.
ESL/ESOL

ESL/ESOL

I'm a junior at Boston University and a tutor through LOCK, and I speak intermediate Spanish, which helps me explain English grammar and vocabulary to Spanish-speaking learners. I focus on practical conversation, reading comprehension, and writing clear sentences. Lessons are patient and built around the student's goals, whether that's schoolwork, job interviews, or everyday communication.
Finance

Finance

I'm a junior Finance major at Boston University's Questrom School of Business and hold the FMVA and FPWMP certifications from the Corporate Finance Institute. I've applied finance hands-on as a wealth management intern at Potomac Wealth Management, a portfolio management intern at Focused Capital Investments, and an investment analyst intern doing deal analysis. I also founded BU's Wealth Management Club, where I run a 50-analyst program teaching students to build portfolios and financial plans. I can help with time value of money, valuation, corporate finance, portfolio theory, and exam prep.
Financial Accounting

Financial Accounting

I'm a junior Finance major at BU's Questrom School of Business and have tutored financial accounting through both LOCK and Wyzant. I use the three financial statements constantly in my FMVA-certified modeling work, so I can show students how transactions flow through the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. I break topics like accruals, depreciation, inventory, and ratio analysis into clear steps with practice problems matched to the student's course.
Geometry

Geometry

I'm a Finance major at Boston University with a strong math background, and I tutor through LOCK. I help students with angles, triangles, area and volume, coordinate geometry, and proofs by drawing things out and explaining the logic step by step. Lessons are paced to the student's class and focus on building problem-solving habits.
Handwriting

Handwriting

I'm a Boston University student and LOCK tutor who works with students of different ages. For handwriting, I focus on letter formation, consistent sizing and spacing, and comfortable pencil grip, with short daily practice. I keep sessions encouraging and connect practice to the student's real schoolwork so neater writing becomes a habit.
Interview Prep

Interview Prep

I'm a Career Skills Coach at Boston University's Questrom School of Business, where I help students prepare for interviews through mock interviews, resume reviews, and one-on-one coaching on how to present themselves clearly and confidently. I've also been through competitive recruiting myself, landing internships in equity research, wealth management, and real estate private equity, so I know firsthand what interviewers look for and how to prepare for both behavioral and technical questions. My approach is practical and personalized: we run realistic practice interviews, work on structured answers using frameworks like the STAR method, and build a preparation plan tailored to the specific roles and companies you're targeting. Whether it's your first interview or a high-stakes final round, I'll help you walk in prepared, calm, and ready to make a strong impression.
Microeconomics

Microeconomics

I'm a junior Finance major at BU's Questrom School of Business, where microeconomics underpins much of my coursework. I help students with supply and demand, elasticity, consumer and producer theory, market structures, and game theory. I use graphs and real business examples, and I tie concepts directly to the student's homework and exams.
Microsoft Excel

Microsoft Excel

I hold the Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) certification, which is built around Excel-based modeling. I've used Excel in my internships for portfolio analysis, deal screening, and client reporting. I can teach everything from formulas, lookups, and pivot tables to building three-statement models and DCFs. My focus is clean, efficient spreadsheets students can use in class or at work.
Poker

Poker

I have over five years of experience playing poker both online and in live settings across a wide range of buy-in levels and formats, giving me a deep understanding of the game at every stage. I am well-versed in fundamental poker strategy including hand selection, position play, pot odds, bankroll management, and adjusting to different opponent types and table dynamics. My experience spans cash games and tournaments at varying stakes, which has sharpened my ability to teach concepts that apply whether a student is a complete beginner or looking to improve their intermediate game. I focus on building a strong strategic foundation so students can think through hands independently rather than simply memorizing plays.
Prealgebra

Prealgebra

I'm a Finance student at Boston University and tutor through LOCK. I help students master fractions, decimals, ratios, negative numbers, and simple equations, which are the foundation for algebra. I explain concepts in plain language, use real-world examples, and give practice that builds confidence step by step.
Precalculus

Precalculus

I'm a junior Finance major at BU's Questrom School of Business with strong quantitative skills, and I tutor through LOCK. I help students with functions, exponentials and logarithms, trigonometry, and sequences, many of which I use in finance and financial modeling. I focus on understanding the concepts rather than memorizing steps so students are ready for calculus.
PSAT

PSAT

As a Boston University student and LOCK tutor, I help students prepare for the PSAT's reading, writing, and math sections. I teach test strategies, timing, and the core content each section covers, using official practice material. Sessions are built around the student's diagnostic results so we target the areas with the most room to improve.
Public Speaking

Public Speaking

As a finance student at Boston University's Questrom School of Business, I've delivered countless presentations, from case competitions and class pitches to group project presentations in front of professors and peers. I also work as a Career Skills Coach at Questrom, where I help students communicate clearly and confidently in interviews and professional settings. I can help with structuring a talk, cutting filler, managing nerves, and delivery skills like pacing and eye contact. Sessions are practice-heavy: you present, I give direct feedback, and we repeat until it feels natural.
Reading

Lessons use texts matched to the student's level and interests, with a focus on building lasting reading habits.
SIE Exam (Securities)

SIE Exam (Securities)

I passed the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam in September 2026, so I know exactly what the test covers and how to prepare for it efficiently. I am a junior Finance major at Boston University's Questrom School of Business with a 3.7 GPA, and I hold the FMVA and FPWMP certifications from CFI. My experience interning at Potomac Wealth Management and founding BU's Wealth Management Club lets me connect exam topics like securities products, regulation, and customer accounts to how they work in practice. I build each student a study plan around practice questions and the highest-weighted sections so they walk into test day confident.
Soccer

Soccer

I've played soccer since I was five years old, competing at both the club and high school level, so I have a deep, hands-on understanding of the game, from fundamental skills and positioning to reading the flow of play. I now referee soccer as well, which has sharpened my command of the rules and how the game is officiated in real time. I enjoy helping players build their technical skills and soccer IQ, and I adapt each session to the player's age and level, whether that's a young player learning the basics or an older one refining their game. My approach is patient and encouraging, focused on building both skill and confidence on the field.
Spelling

Spelling

I'm a Boston University student and LOCK tutor with strong reading and writing skills. I teach spelling through word families, prefixes, suffixes, and roots so students understand why words are spelled the way they are instead of memorizing lists. I use short, consistent practice and build spelling into the student's own writing so improvements carry over to schoolwork.
Vocabulary

Vocabulary

I'm a Boston University student and LOCK tutor with strong reading and writing skills. I teach vocabulary through context, word roots, and active use in writing rather than memorization alone. This approach helps students on tests like the SAT and ACT and in their everyday reading and writing.
