Hi! My name is Monisha, and I am a college student with a strong passion for education and helping students reach their academic goals. Throughout high school and college, I have enjoyed working with students in a variety of settings and have developed a patient, supportive teaching style that focuses on building both understanding and confidence. My academic background is particularly strong in STEM subjects, English, and study skills, and I enjoy helping students break down challenging concepts into manageable steps.

I have experience tutoring students through volunteer programs as well as working at Kumon, where I helped students strengthen their skills in math and reading. Through these experiences, I worked with learners of different ages and ability levels, providing individualized support and helping them develop strong academic habits. I have also tutored students one-on-one through school organizations, assisting with homework, test preparation, and long-term skill development.

My tutoring philosophy is centered on meeting students where they are and adapting my teaching methods to fit their learning style. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in the learning process. Rather than simply giving answers, I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind concepts so they can become more independent and confident learners. Whether a student is looking to improve grades, prepare for an exam, or strengthen foundational skills, I am committed to creating a positive and encouraging learning environment that helps them succeed.
