I hold two master’s degrees in education—an M.Ed. in Elementary Education (Grades 1–6) and an M.Ed. in Leadership and Administration—as well as a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management & Policy. I am a licensed elementary teacher (Grades 1–6) in Massachusetts, with a Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement and a PAL Administrator License. My training allows me to align instruction to state standards and effectively prepare students for MCAS and classroom success.
I have over seven years of classroom teaching experience at the elementary level, primarily teaching grades 4–6 in math and science, along with additional experience in special education roles. I have worked in whole-class, small group, and one-on-one settings, supporting a wide range of learners, including students with IEPs and English language learners. My teaching approach focuses on data-driven instruction, breaking down concepts into manageable steps, and using hands-on strategies to build strong foundational skills and confidence.
In addition, I have experience as a special education instructional assistant and long-term substitute, supporting students with diverse needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. Across all settings, I tailor my instruction to each student’s learning style and needs, helping them build independence, improve performance, and develop a positive mindset—especially in math.
