I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biology along with a minor in Leadership, and I am currently continuing my education as a dental student. My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in subjects such as biology, chemistry, anatomy, and physiology, and I have successfully navigated rigorous science coursework at both the undergraduate and professional school levels. I have also prepared for and taken standardized exams such as the DAT, which has given me insight into effective study strategies and test-taking techniques that I now share with my students. My commitment to academics and leadership has allowed me to develop discipline, organization, and the ability to break down complex material into clear, understandable concepts.

I have experience working with students across a wide range of age groups, including elementary, middle school, high school, and college-level learners. My teaching experience includes one-on-one tutoring as well as academic support roles such as serving as a microbiology teaching assistant, where I guided students through lab material and reinforced key scientific concepts. I have worked with students at different skill levels and have learned how to adjust my teaching style to meet each individuals needs. Whether I am helping younger students build foundational skills or supporting college students through more advanced topics, I focus on creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to make challenging subjects feel approachable and manageable while also building confidence in my students. I prioritize understanding over memorization and use step-by-step explanations, real-world examples, and personalized strategies to help students truly grasp the material. I am patient, adaptable, and genuinely invested in each student’s success. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them feel more confident and capable in their academic abilities long-term! :)

Approved Subjects

College Counseling

College Counseling

I can help with college counseling by guiding you through every step of the application process, from choosing the right schools to building a strong, well-rounded application. I graduated from University of Detroit Mercy in just three years with a Biology degree and a minor in Leadership, and I’m now a dental student, so I understand how to stand out academically and personally. I’ll help you stay organized, highlight your strengths, and make confident decisions about your future.
DAT (Dental)

DAT (Dental)

I’m qualified to tutor for the DAT because I have a strong foundation in the sciences from earning my Biology degree and am currently building on that knowledge in dental school. I’ve successfully navigated the same concepts tested on the DAT and understand how to break them down into clear, high-yield strategies. I focus on helping students master both the content and the test-taking approach needed to perform confidently.
Dentistry

Dentistry

As a current dental student with over four years of hands-on experience as a dental assistant, I offer a well-rounded approach to tutoring that combines strong academic knowledge with real-world clinical experience. I have a solid foundation in biology, chemistry, and dental-related coursework, and I’m passionate about helping students truly understand challenging concepts rather than just memorize them. My experience working in a dental office has given me a deep understanding of patient care, clinical procedures, and the day-to-day realities of dentistry. This allows me to connect what you’re learning to how it’s actually applied in practice, making sessions more engaging, practical, and easier to grasp. In addition to academic support, I also mentor students through the dental school journey. I’ve successfully gone through the admissions process myself and can help with personal statements, application strategy, and interview preparation. I understand what admissions committees look for and how to present your experiences in a way that is both authentic and compelling. Whether you’re looking for help mastering science courses, preparing for the DAT, gaining insight into the dental field, or strengthening your dental school application, I’m here to support you every step of the way. My goal is to make complex material feel manageable, build your confidence, and help you succeed both academically and professionally.
