Hi! My name is Jiho, and I recently completed the 2025–2026 medical school application cycle with 17 MD acceptances. I was awarded two full-tuition merit scholarships and a $240,000 scholarship from a top 30 medical school. I’ll be starting medical school in Boston this August, and in the meantime, I’m excited to help students navigate the MCAT and medical school application process.

I graduated with highest honors in Engineering Physics with a 3.96 GPA and scored a 516 on the MCAT (130/126CARS/130/130). I have three years of experience as an undergraduate teaching assistant in chemistry, physics, and linear algebra, and I’ve worked as a private tutor for the past three years with middle school, high school, and college students across AP subjects, ACT, and MCAT prep. I tailor my approach to each student by identifying how they think and where they get stuck, so we can fix problems at the root rather than relying on memorization.
For the MCAT, I focus on the science sections, teaching pattern recognition, efficient problem-solving, and how to think like the test writers. For medical school applications, I specialize in personal statements, activity descriptions, and secondary essays. My results were driven by strong writing and interview performance, and I help students develop clear, compelling narratives that stand out while staying authentic to their experiences. Whether you’re just starting or refining your application, I’m here to help you put your best version forward.
