At NYC, in my senior year of high school I was a co-mentor to underclassmen in a life-design/planning course. This meant scripting activities for weekly sessions to match the learning methods of several mentees. We had a medium sized group, so many sessions required interacting with mentees; noting their views and modifying the mode communicating key ideas based to build off of their current understanding.
Currently, I'm a research mentor for a Biotech ll course at New Mission High in Boston, a volunteer role, where I assist the mentees in considerations that they should make to bolster the applicability and generality of their research projects. This in particular was a test for me, I don't have Biotech experience, but a good amount of research breadth, so I did a lot of carch up work in the field and applied my research work in that space.
I'm currently a Mechanical Engineering major at Boston University, on the Questbridge Scholarship: dreadfully passionate about mathematically modeling robots and dynamic control systems so I plan to concentrate in Machine Learning and Robotics. I graduated from Flushing High School in NYC, with a 98.9 CGPA, and AP Scholar award.
Reach out to me for algebra, calculus, physics and chemistry.
