Arjun works in education, the environment and social development. Arjun works in education, the environment and social development. His experience ranges from the traditional classroom; where he taught Environmental Science and Biology for the Boston Public School system, to the ecological fields of the Arctic Circle and Panama where Arjun researched climate change and the the evolutionary adaptations of tree frogs. Before becoming an educator Arjun earned a B.S. in Biology, a B.A. in Journalism, and a Master of Science in Education from the University of Massachusetts. Arjun also worked as a Conservation Ecologist and Naturalist for the Massachusetts Audubon Society. In the pursuit of social development using science as a tool, Arjun has worked with the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute and Boston University to develop curricula in Evolutionary Biology to be used for public outreach. Arjun has been as a research scientist with EarthWatch, studying the affects of climate change in Canada’s Arctic Region. Besides his work Arjun enjoys writing, reading, martial arts and the great outdoors. His motto: We live in a beautiful world. Lets explore it!
