Tutoring grew naturally out of my own test prep journey. After earning a 1580 on the SAT (790 Math, 790 Reading & Writing), I realized how much I enjoyed helping other students turn an overwhelming exam into something clear, manageable, and even a little fun. Since then, I have focused on SAT Reading, SAT Math, SSAT, and ISEE, with over 70 total tutoring hours, more than 60 sessions hosted, and 115 learners from 16 countries.

For SAT Reading and Writing, I show students how to read passages strategically, find evidence efficiently, and avoid trap answers using a consistent, logical process. In SAT Math, I emphasize patterns, core concepts, and time-saving strategies so students move from “I sort of remember this” to confidently recognizing what each question is really asking. My students learn not only how to get the right answer, but how to build a toolkit of methods they can apply across different question types.
I also have extensive experience with the SSAT, having taken it four times from 5th through 9th grade and consistently earning 99th percentile scores, including a perfect overall score. This reflects strong mastery of the tested math, reading, and verbal skills. Because the ISEE and SSAT assess similar skills, including vocabulary, reading comprehension, quantitative reasoning, and core math, my SSAT background translates directly to ISEE content knowledge. I am well equipped to break concepts down clearly, model effective timing and guessing strategies, and help students build confidence over time.
Across SAT, SSAT, and ISEE, my approach is simple: meet students where they are, then build up. I break questions into manageable pieces, ask targeted questions to check understanding, and work through examples together so strategies become habits instead of tips memorized for one test. If you are looking for structured, patient support in SAT Reading, SAT Math, SSAT, or ISEE, and a tutor who genuinely celebrates when things click, I would be happy to set up a lesson.
