After college, I taught high school math for two years at a private boarding school. Specifically, I taught Algebra II and Geometry. Although I do not currently teach math in a formal school setting, I stay involved with the subject through both tutoring and my math-centered YouTube channel, which currently has 17,000 subscribers. I enjoy solving competition math and olympiad style math questions which is what the channel is based around.
I am a kind and patient tutor and I aim to help my students push for understanding rather than memorization. Math ability is less about talent than a lot of people may think. Consistency and perseverance can go a long way. I look forward to potentially working with you.
