Hi, my name is Larry, and I am a board certified pathologist. I have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis. I earned my medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
I enjoy teaching people of all ages from elementary school to adults. My teaching experience started when I was in high school when I thought middle school kids math at a Gear-up Program. I have also served as a teaching assistant while in college in both math, science, and engineering. After medical school, I was an adjunct professor at Pikeville College School Osteopathic Medicine where I taught medical students. Post training I have also mentored and taught medical students and residents in various capacities. I have more than 20 years of tutoring/teaching experience. My teaching methods are engaging and fun. I also employ the Socratic and Montessori methods from time to time. My areas of teaching interests include science, anatomy, physiology, premed, math, medicine, career coaching to name a few.
I am excited to be working with you and I hope to hear from you soon.
