I am a graduate from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) with a degree in Biology. During my time at UMBC, I served as a teaching assistant in chemistry and biology classes ranging from introductory biology to more advanced courses that I had previously taken. I also served as a tutor in my time at UMBC a wide variety of subjects in the science categories. In my time at HSDM, I served as a tutor for Mission Crimson, where I was paired one-on-one with a 5th grader whom I helped with reading, math, and English skills in preparation for a standardized exam. I enjoy all subjects that I tutor, and I am very passionate about teaching and helping others think critically about ways to approach problems. I am passionate about helping others improve their performance, I am interested in strategies the tutee has previously used, and I am interested in other strategies the tutee is willing to try. In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, bird watching, and hiking with friends.
