As a high school student, I maintained a spot on the honor roll for all four years while tackling challenging coursework, including eight Advanced Placement exams where I averaged a score of 4.25. Achieving a perfect SAT Math score of 800 further solidified my proficiency in STEM subjects.
While in high school, I tutored various students in a variety of different subjects. I worked with students who were in elementary school and middle school and developed my own teaching style which emphasizes identifying patterns and having clear goals.
My commitment to education continued at Northeastern University, where I graduated magna cum laude with a GPA of 3.712. There, I not only excelled in my own studies but also found fulfillment in assisting peers with their coursework, particularly in STEM disciplines. This experience highlighted my ability to explain complex concepts in a way that resonates with others.
When in college, I found new ways to teach students which included creating virtual classes where students of all ages can learn at their own pace. I utilized my teaching skills in my own coursework by becoming a Teaching Assistant for multiple STEM courses over my time in undergrad.
Now, as a software engineer, I bring a practical perspective to tutoring, emphasizing real-world applications of academic concepts. Beyond technical proficiency, I've engaged in various community service initiatives, reinforcing my belief in the transformative power of education. I look forward to working with students and unlocking their potential in the classroom.
