I have a year and a half of experience tutoring other college students like myself, in subjects such as managerial statistics, pre-calculus, financial accounting, and Microsoft Office. My tutoring was always done in a one-on-one format, where I could better understand each student's strengths and weaknesses. This helps me help them with concepts they actually need help at and give them encouragement along the way.
My previous tutoring experience makes me knowledgeable enough to tutor other students, in both college and school. In addition, I got nearly all A's in math, accounting, and statistics classes in both high school and college. Some people understand quickly, while others need a bit more time, and I find the most rewarding aspect of tutoring to be watching the moment a concept clicks in a student's mind.
