Originally from Burlington, VT, my passion for teaching began in high school when I provided one-on-one support to underclassmen in Algebra and Pre-Algebra. Seeing students gain confidence in concepts they once found challenging is what has driven my commitment to education ever since. I later moved to Boston to earn my Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics, and am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science, giving me both deep theoretical grounding and real-world analytical experience as a practicing Data Analyst.
Throughout my academic journey, I have tutored high school and college students across a wide range of subjects including Calculus I, II, and III, Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Partial Differential Equations. In my university tutoring role, I led collaborative study groups in a classroom setting, reinforced lecture material, and provided targeted one-on-one guidance to students with varying levels of mathematical background. In all of my work with students, I focus on breaking complex ideas into clear, approachable steps tailored to each student's individual learning style, with a strong emphasis on fundamentals, problem-solving, and building mathematical confidence that carries beyond the classroom.
