Stanley C. is a math professor at a well-regarded college, and his deep knowledge of math topics and pedagogical experience were evident in the last minute, "SOS" session that we requested to help our daughter with high school AP Calc BC. Despite Stanley being on the East Coast, he was so gracious and genuinely wanting to help that he scheduled a very late (for him) session to help my daughter prepare for a test. Next year, my daughter will have to take college dual enrollment multivariable calculus or linear algebra classes as a high school senior, since her school does not offer math beyond AP Calc BC. We will be sure to reach out to Prof. Stanley for addition help as needed. We are very thankful to have found him on Wyzant.

I working with Stanley C was fantastic! He even added an extra class just so my daughter could turn in her homework on time. He's really good at linear algebra. He helped my daughter finish her homework super fast in just 50 minutes of a 1-hour class. He made math interesting and explained hard concepts so it was easy to understand. He's really helped my daughter, and his availability and quick replies were really helpful. It's clear that he really cares about his students' success. I highly recommend Stanley as a tutor. He's great at math and teaching too. We want to keep working with him for my daughter's math class next semester. He's worth way more than what he's being paid!

Excellent Linear Algebra Tutor
Stanley made linear algebra a lot less scary for my daughter. She used to feel overwhelmed in her college linear algebra classes, but Stanley was excellent at explaining concepts in an accessible manner and checking her understanding along the way. His lessons were also well paced and made good use of the scheduled time.

Stanley responded immediately to my request of getting an urgent lesson with him. Even though he was not available according to his schedule, he provided the opportunity of an urgent lesson. He would go thoroughly through a dufficult subject in advanced probability theory. He would ask me all the time if he should go again through what we were discussing in order to make it clear that the matter was well understood. In particular, I noticed that he would great intuition in approaching a question that was difficult to deal with. I will very probably get an other lesson with him soon. He also showed a great sense of communication and kindness. I am so thankful about the time he spent in discussing an advanced subject relating analysis, topology and probability theory.
