I have been working in a high school Special Education program for four years. After receiving my Bachelors degree in English in 2010, I decided that whatever profession I chose, I would have to be helping people. That is what ultimate lead me to both teaching and Special Ed. I am currently in graduate school pursuing my Master's degree in Special Education with a specific focus in Moderate Disabilities, grades 5-12. I love working one-on-one with students because you can gauge their growth so much more closely than you can in a larger classroom setting. This is what is rewarding for me about working with students in tutoring, to have such a close pulse on the concepts that they are and the concepts they are not getting. I am very professional, and I promise that I will supply each student I meet with a rewarding educational experience. I have worked with many different kinds of students, and I look forward to hearing from you and coming up with a plan to help enrich you or your child's educational experience. Whether you are seeking help with coursework or looking for help preparing for the SAT, we will work to help you or your child achieve their absolute peak potential. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
