Adobe Illustrator

Adobe Illustrator

As a Graphic Designer, I find myself using Adobe Illustrator in most of my work. This application has allowed me to work comfortable on projects such as branding, icon creation, drawing, vector files and, typography. These types of projects are very delicate and require extreme precision and attention to detail. With the help of the tools palette provided in the Illustrator app, none of these requirements are an issue. Very easily I am able to adjust the tools I work with to the level of preciseness I need, and it is even more easier to work with them. I have been a Graphic Designer for a little over 7 years now. With the Illustrator tools and services I have been able to deliver great projects to a variety of clients. The app allows designers to work with a grid and align objects very well. It also has a great library of fonts for any type of use, which can be manipulated in many ways, from filling them in with images to reshaping them and separating the letters from words. Having learned so much from Illustrator and having gained so much experience with this incredible Adobe Creative Cloud app, I now feel confident to pass my knowledge to others in need. From me, student can expect to learn: working with grids and rulers, creating complex vector drawings, blurring images and objects, cropping, live tracing an image, applying gradients to color, filling in text with an image, and more. Message me today to get started. Thank you!
Animation

Animation

I have worked with animations for 6-7 years. In my time as a 2D Animator, I have used Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Adobe Animate and Processing to produce content. The work usually consist of drawing the object multiple times on multiple layers and setting it to flip through the layers at a certain speed. For some of my projects I have used real life video, converted it into a sequence of images, drawn on each on top of each of those images, and converted the drawing into animation, hiding the original video and leaving the new piece. There are many methods of animating in 2D, and each takes its time and steps in order to be able to work with it successfully. Animating is very interesting and fun, and it is a way for me to unleash my creative potential and present my thoughts and ideas in a creative way to the world.
Bible Studies

Bible Studies

I have completed a two-year theology program, analyzing and interpreting the Old Testament and New Testament text of the Bible. I have knowledge on how to correctly and effectively study and interpret the Bible and through what resources, materials, and ways. I am looking to share this knowledge with anyone interested to dive deeper into the Word of God.
Bulgarian

Bulgarian

My experience with speaking Bulgarian is very strong. I am fluent in it because I was born in Bulgaria and lived there until age 11. After that I moved to the United States, but by that time I had learned Bulgarian very well in school. Currently I am fluent in Bulgarian and English. I know how to read, write, spell, and communicate in Bulgarian. Because this is a Romance language, it is very similar to Spanish and Italian but also Macedonian and Russian. It is easy to understand words I have not heard before and link them to words in another culture that mean the same. This type of word association has helped me learn Bulgarian even better. The Bulgarian language is one that is very complicated, but these challenges do not stand a chance to my knowledge. By the end of lessons, anyone who has worked with me will be able to have a casual conversation, conjugate verbs, speak in past, present future and all other more complicated tenses, read, write, and spell in Bulgarian, and more! Take a chance and learn a new language with me today!
English

English

I provide learning sessions for anyone who has interest in learning English as a second language. We do reading, speaking, and listening practice. I typically will ask you what your needs are so that I am aware of what you want to learn specifically. Then I will make lessons tailored to your needs. We will learn together. I do plenty of demonstrating. There is also plenty of time given to you to practice with me or by yourself. We can do exercises from digital workbooks for deeper understanding. I might give homework for practice as well. Lessons with me are peaceful, patient, and comfortable.
Graphic Design

Graphic Design

In graphic design, everything has to follow a form or a structure or a grid. The content I have produced as a Graphic Designer has had me organize information, determine relevance and importance, and pay attention to detail and hierarchy. Without these elements, a successful design piece would not be possible. In my experience, I always work with InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. I use the information and direction I have been given by the client to create a piece that will be to their liking and use. For me, the most important is for the client to always be happy at the end of the process.
Video Production

Video Production

In the video production field, it is always important to be able to capture content in the best and clearest way possible. As a Video Producer, I have used a DSLR camera to capture this video content and use it for clients' social media platforms. The next step after capturing the content that is also as equally as important is to edit it well. For this part, I use Premiere Pro for color correction and audio fixing and After Effects for manipulating and editing the video itself. In this process, it is important to remember to highlight the important message of the piece and disregard and cut out everything else that is irrelevant or distracting. In order to do this, I use After Effect's cutting, duplicating and trimming options. Although this type of work might seem long and boring, I enjoy every minute of it. It makes me feel educated of what goes behind the scenes in the making of a great video. It grows my experience as a video producer and editor and it helps me learn new techniques and ways to make the video look its best for the customer.
Web Design

Web Design

In my time as a Graphic Designer, I have worked mostly on designs for the web. I began my web design career by interning for start ups in 2018. During my time as a web design intern, I worked on black and white sketches and wireframes for website rebranding, turning sketches into color, and adjusting the designs to the preference of the employer. For this type of work I did not use HTML and CSS, but I do have knowledge in front end development as well. If necessary, I could build a website from scratch with features like multiple pages, navigation bars, buttons, links, embedded image and video content, titles, subheads, etc, so I have a great amount of experience in designing and developing for web. As a Web Designer, I have learned how to create sketches, wireframes and color layouts both for app and web using Illustrator. I find that application from the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite to be most useful in precisely creating such designs. It offers multiple ways to create content and make it look like a realistic page. There are brushes, shapes, text tool, gradients, pathfinder options, etc - in other words, so much is provided for a designer to get the job done. With me students can expect to learn how to bring in placeholder designs for web and recreate, enhance, or build new designs from them. Students can expect to learn how to use the tools palette provided in Illustrator, as well as useful knowledge on different types of designs and aesthetics when designing for web or app. There are a lot of ways to approach a website design, and it is important to know the difference when designing pieces for different types of industries, because designs, themes, styles, and typography vary based on just that. I will be able to pass this information onto the students and help them create better and more stunning designs for web. Feel free to reach out if you are interested in working with me to enhance your knowledge and designs. Thank you!

Galina is the greatest! What more can I say? She's a whiz with After Effects, Premiere Pro and Photoshop. You should call her today. She took initiative and showed me what I needed to know. If Joe Frazier were alive, he'd say "woah, this girl is the GOAT bro!"
