I am a Kindergarten Assistant in the Boston, MA area. I primarily work with Kindergarten students, and I am licensed to teach K-2 classes. I am in school to get my Elementary Education (K-6) Masters. My interest in education started in my high school years. I had the opportunity to work at an after school for 6 years and then transitioned to my current role as a Kindergarten Assistant. I am a Kindergarten Assistant in the Boston, MA area. I primarily work with Kindergarten students, and I am licensed to teach K-2 classes. I am in school to get my Elementary Education (K-6) Masters. My interest in education started in my high school years. I had the opportunity to work at an after school for 6 years and then transitioned to my current role as a Kindergarten Assistant. There are many things I love about teaching, one being seeing students grow in the subjects they may be struggling with. In order to support students, I plan differentiated lessons so that I can meet the needs of all students. I am very patient and understanding towards each student and his/her needs. For me the most important thing is to have a connection with the student and to help them grow! I am excited to share some of my skills with you on here and help you succeed!

Currently I offer tutoring in K-6 math, reading, writing, spelling and grammar. In a potential meeting, the child can expect to share what they need support with in a safe space and receive understanding and the necessary help. I offer meetings through Wyzant and Zoom. Feel free to reach out if your child needs support in any of the subjects listed above. I am excited and look forward to helping your child succeed and grow!

I am originally from Bulgaria and can speak Bulgarian fluently. The language definitely has a level of difficulty, but with a lot of patience, time and practice you will succeed in learning the new language! I will help you learn the alphabet, as well as present, future and past tenses. We will also learn how to conjugate verbs using these tenses and some day-to-day typical conversations! The lessons will be based on what you are interested in!

I have over a year of experience in teaching phonics to kindergarteners and 1st graders! Together we will learn letter-sound correspondence and blending of words to help learn to read! Reading is so important in a child's early life and I am excited to work on this skill with your child!

I have a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood and and currently working towards my Masters in Elementary Education! I have worked with kids and helped them with spelling techniques!

Friendly and patient tutor

Taught our two girls (5 and 7) writing and words. They were able to have fun and learn in the short time. Both girls loved Iva and are looking forward to working with her more. Iva is very responsive over the app.
