As a teacher, I have experience creating small groups and providing independent instruction for my students. Each student has a unique way of learning and representing information. My background in Special Education has taught me many ways to approach phonics, math, and reading based on a student's specific needs. In education, one size does not fit all.
I am familiar with a range of different curricula used by local schools and can incorporate this into our tutoring sessions. Before starting instruction, I will want to get to know my student so that I can build a curriculum around their specific needs and interests.
