I am an experienced educator in Math , Robotics and Career and Technical Education (CTE). I hold teaching credentials in middle school Math and Science with a Computer Science endorsement, and I have taught students in both classroom and online settings. My academic background also includes advanced graduate studies in education, business, and geography/GIS, which has strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and connect lessons to real-world applications. I have several years of experience working with middle school and high school students, helping them build confidence, improve grades, and develop strong problem-solving skills.

In addition to classroom teaching, I have extensive one-on-one and small-group tutoring experience. As the owner and operator of a Kumon learning center, I worked closely with students across a wide range of skill levels, from those needing foundational support to advanced learners seeking enrichment. My experience includes helping students with homework support, test preparation, study skills, and long-term academic growth in Math and related subjects.

My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and highly personalized. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor each session to the student’s pace, goals, and learning preferences. I focus on ensuring they truly understand the underlying concepts and gain confidence in their abilities. I use step-by-step explanations, interactive problem solving, and real-world examples to make learning engaging and approachable. My goal is to help students become independent, confident learners while creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
