Hey, I’m Greg! As a neuroscience and immunology researcher, I specialize in tutoring students in the biomedical sciences, writing, and math.
My PhD is from Boston University, where I studied a variety of life science topics, notably cellular and systems neuroscience, pharmacology, quantitative methods for data analysis, and persuasive and scientific writing. Apart from my academic career, I have worked as a biomedical scientist at Yale University and as a postdoctoral fellow at Sanofi, helping develop drugs for neurological and immunological diseases.
I enjoy teaching immensely and have continued to do so throughout my career. While studying at Boston University I taught graduate-level courses, including systems neuroscience, cellular physiology, and various writing seminars. I also prepared lectures and interactive science labs for high school students preparing for medical and graduate school, as part of Boston University’s Academic Immersion (AIM) program. Over the years, I have tutored a variety of science, math, and writing topics, working with students from high school to adulthood.
So whether you are a pre-med student tackling the MCAT or a student seeking to master core concepts in persuasive writing, I bring a wealth of practical, real-world expertise to our sessions. Please contact me if you think I can be of help. I will respond quickly and love to hear feedback.
