Dear Families and Students,
Learning is most powerful when children feel seen, capable, and supported. As an experienced elementary educator with a strong foundation in early childhood education and literacy development, my goal is to create a tutoring experience that is both academically rigorous and deeply encouraging.

I graduated early, summa cum laude and with distinction in education (3.9 GPA), and I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree with a focus on Teaching English as a Second Language. My academic preparation is paired with hands-on classroom experience through student teaching, substitute teaching across grade levels, preschool instruction, after-school programming, and more than three years of individualized tutoring and nannying.

I specialize in early literacy and language development, particularly for multilingual learners developing confidence in English reading, writing, and speaking. In our sessions, I provide targeted, research-based instruction tailored to your child’s unique strengths and needs—whether that means strengthening phonics and decoding skills, building reading comprehension, expanding academic vocabulary, or supporting clear and confident written expression. I thoughtfully scaffold instruction so students not only improve their skills, but also understand how they are learning, fostering independence and long-term academic growth.

Above all, I prioritize building trusting relationships with students and open communication with families. I believe that confidence is just as important as competence, and I strive to create a calm, affirming space where students feel safe to take risks and celebrate progress. My goal is for each child to leave our sessions not only stronger academically, but also more self-assured, motivated, and proud of their growth. I would be honored to partner with your family in supporting your child’s success.

Common Core

I have strong experience teaching Common Core–aligned curriculum across elementary grade levels. I have taught in Massachusetts, where state standards are more rigorous and emphasize deeper conceptual understanding and critical thinking beyond basic Common Core expectations. I design instruction that supports long-term skill development in reading, writing, and math, rather than rote practice. I also have experience supporting multilingual learners and students with diverse learning needs.
Elementary (K-6th)

Elementary (K-6th)

I’m an experienced elementary educator with a strong background in early childhood education, literacy development, and one-on-one instruction for English Language Learners (ELLs). I have completed student teaching in an inclusive classroom, worked as a substitute teacher at various grade levels, and spent over three years tutoring and nannying young children, in addition to two years working in a preschool and two years teaching after-school elementary programs. Much of my tutoring experience has been one-on-one, including targeted support for multilingual learners developing English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
ESL/ESOL

ESL/ESOL

I am a master’s candidate with a concentration in Teaching English as a Second Language and have completed all required ESL coursework and my supervised internship. I have formal training in language acquisition, culturally responsive instruction, and supporting multilingual learners across proficiency levels. I have experience supporting students’ academic language development in reading, writing, speaking, and listening across content areas. My approach emphasizes structured language support paired with meaningful, grade-level learning, helping students gain confidence while developing the language needed to succeed in school.
