Hi! My name is Grace :) I graduated summa cum laude from Elon University with a degree in Human Service Studies and minors in Psychology, Leadership Studies, and Poverty and Social Justice. I am currently enrolled in the Master of Social Work program at Boston College with a focus in micro level work.
I have had an abundance of tutoring experience with young students, as I was a teacher’s aid at an elementary school in North Carolina, where I led small reading and math groups....

Hands-on, engaging, and kind
Grace has been working with my son on his college application essays, and the experience has been excellent. She's incredibly hands-on throughout the process. She brainstorms ideas with him, helps him develop each essay, and works at a pace that's comfortable for him. My son was feeling overwhelmed by the college application essays, and having Grace guide him every step of the way has made the process much more manageable and less stressful. She's also kind and approachable. My son looks forward to each session with her, which says a lot about how supportive and engaging she is.

I needed someone to proofread my statement of purpose for grad school and I was glad I got Grace. I liked how she took the time to go through each paragraph. She asked all the right questions that I needed to answer to make my SOP stand out. Her suggestions, questions, and editing skills really displayed how knowledgeable she was at writing. Writing an SOP can be quite emotional. It’s hard to share certain personal moments in my writing with someone, but with Grace I felt very comfortable.
