My name is Dot. I have a B.A in English. I tutored French in high school. Prior to that, I worked in a SPED room in junior high.I do not have a lot of tutoring experience. However, I have spent 40-plus years caring for, mentoring and teaching adults and/ or children. I am a patient, caring and compassionate person. This is reflected in the rapport I have with the individuals I have worked with. I make people feel comfortable and am adept at finding styles to suit individual needs and learning...

I have worked as a behavioral management specials -creating and implementing programs. I have been site coordinator in a daycare center-again creating learning (and fun!!!) activities. I was a recreational therapist in a school for mentally, emotionally, and physically challenged students.I devised programs that were successful in helping each student meet his learn at his full capacity. For the last 15 years, I have been a home daycare provider. Again, I created a nurturing learning environment. I am very proud of how much my hard work pays off! I have a lot of success stories! My best one is that as my role of a mom. My son graduated from Williams College last June!
Learning and being the best one can be is of utmost importance to me.
