I am currently pursuing my Master of Occupational Therapy degree at Quinnipiac University after earning my Bachelor of Science in Health Science Studies with Cum Laude honors. My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in subjects such as anatomy, physiology, psychology, human development, health sciences, and study skills. Throughout my education, I have developed effective strategies for learning complex material, improving organization, and building confidence in academic settings.
In addition to my coursework, I have extensive experience working with children and students in educational and supportive roles. For several years, I have worked as a certified daycare teacher, where I have helped children develop academic, social, and problem-solving skills in both individual and group settings. I have also served as a Student Ambassador and Graduate Assistant at Quinnipiac University, where I regularly communicate with and support prospective and current students. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly, adapt my teaching style to different learning needs, and create a positive learning environment.
My tutoring approach focuses on patience, encouragement, and individualized instruction. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor sessions to each student's goals, strengths, and challenges. Whether helping students improve study habits, understand course material, prepare for exams, or build confidence in their abilities, I strive to make learning engaging, approachable, and successful. I enjoy working with elementary, middle school, high school, and college-aged students and am committed to helping them reach their academic goals.
