I am currently a college sophomore studying chemical engineering in a top 15 undergraduate engineering program with a 4.0 GPA after taking multiple challenging courses such as Organic Chemistry, Thermodynamics, and Differential Equations. In high school I was my school's valedictorian at a top 10 academic private school in the nation. I have taken on challenging course loads, scoring a 5 on AP Chemistry, Calculus BC, Physics C E&M, Physics C Mechanics, Literature & Composition, and Language & Composition. I have consistently done well in testing, but I primarily have honed my communication and leadership/teaching abilities through my diverse path with arts and athletics. In High School, I was a 2-sport varsity captain in lacrosse and basketball as well as the lead in multiple theater performances ranging from Legally Blonde to Radium Girls. I was a peer support councilor at school as well as a head tour guide, so I have plenty of experience working with both children and adults alike explaining different topics with a range of complexity depending on the situation. I also am part of a club lacrosse coaching staff where I design individual development plans for students athletically to achieve success. I take serious pride in my work and I have loved the relationships I have built with my students. I hope to be able to help other students succeed in the ways that I have been able to and push them past the point of needing me. My goals in life are to achieve excellence by elevating those around me and I have continued that now as a Division 1 athlete. I am open to tutoring most high school STEM subjects excluding biology and computer science, as well as undergraduate courses such as organic chemistry, physics 1 and 2, calculus 1-3, thermodynamics, and material and energy balances. I am also very capable in tutoring English for essay writing. I am most well versed in Chemistry subjects and would be well equipped to help students get a 5 on this sort of exam!
