Hi, I’m Ari, a current junior at Case Western Reserve University, majoring in nursing and psychology and pursuing a career in advanced nursing and psychiatric healthcare. I’m an experienced tutor with elementary-high school aged children, with a special focus on editing academic and SAT essays, short responses for job/school applications, and public speaking (both speech writing and delivery).
I am both most passionate about and most experienced with public speaking, which I’ve been participating in competitively since early elementary school. I have taught public speaking lesson with AB Community Education for large classes of mostly middle school students. These classes focused on being able to write/format effective speeches for various scenarios and audiences, as well as increase personal confidence in speaking in front of large crowds. This experience also gives me insight into how to write and format an effective persuasive essay or those commonly required for most applications. More recently, I have gained experience in writing and editing/proofreading others' writing on academic subjects at a collegiate level, especially regarding science, social sciences, and healthcare.
I'm really excited to help others' with their writing whether it's for class, college applications, or any other need. I'm focused on providing quality feedback that not only helps students with their current assignment but also helps them understand how they could improve their writing in the future. I'm available to offer feedback entirely online though editing shared documents or meeting virtually to discuss feedback, and I'm open and flexible to meeting any specific individual needs.
