I have a Bachelor of Science, a Master’s in Education and am pursuing a PhD in Education. I'm currently an Algebra 2 high school teacher who has taught Algebra 1, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Probability, Statistics and Trigonometry in past years. I have extensive experience working with students who find mathematics difficult or challenging. I firmly believe that anyone can learn Mathematics with the right approach, patience and guidance. What is needed is a solid foundation to build on so I usually ensure that the basics are covered and then students can advance at their own pace.
I connect with my students and gain an understanding of what are their difficulties and challenges and will teach using a variety of everyday examples to which they can relate.
