I taught remedial algebra for summer school students - 95% pass rate, 1 student failed due to lack of attendance. Grades and motivation were noted to have increased. I developed math workshops for a San Francisco Catholic school grades 6-8 (Pre-algebra, algebra, and basic geometry). I developed enrichment math workshop for public school in Hillsborough (basic math and pre-algebra). I tutored learning disabled students in geometry. I taught Algebra acceleration summer class to prepare 8th graders for Algebra in high school. I taught geometry to 6th graders for an advanced accelerated learning class for bright children, as well as substitute taught basic math, Pre-algebra, Algebra, and Geometry for various middle schools and high schools throughout the Bay Area.

I have been teaching nutrition with biology, taught and trained athletes for over 10 years, and stay active and have trained in various sports throughout my life. I've trained various athletes in agility, developing power, increasing their jumping ability, and weight loss. I've helped train more than a handful of athletes for national tournaments.

I taught a Study Skills course for middle school where they learned how to organize binders, develop methods of organizing notes, using hands on as well as graphical representations, speed reading techniques to draw information out efficiently while improving their comprehension, etc. My background includes a bachelors degree and a minor in education, a teaching credential with post baccalaureate, and a Masters degree.

I played volleyball in high school and college, played nationally, on beach, asphalt, indoor and on grass. Competed for about 20 years; coached for ~15 seasons. I successfully coached various club teams through regional tournaments. I coached college women's volleyball for 6 seasons. Certified in strength and conditioning (NSCA) - for proper strengthening techniques Certified as a coach through the California Community College Women's Volleyball Coaches Association, member of Northern California Volleyball Association (coach), member of American Volleyball Coaches Association (2 years). I have training in Kinesiology as well as various workshops by division I and pro coaches like Russ Rose, Karch Kiraly, etc.
