Hello, my name is Jaylen. I am currently enrolled at Greenville University, where I am an upcoming sophomore. In college, I am an honors student and made the Dean’s List as a freshman. I graduated high school with a diploma and maintained a 3.79 GPA throughout my high school career.
My journey in accounting began in high school, where I took my first accounting class. I quickly excelled and have now been studying accounting for 2–3 years, consistently earning A’s in each class I’ve taken.
In high school, I was also selected to tutor younger students, mainly freshmen (ages 14–15). Only a few students were chosen for this opportunity. Tutoring gave me valuable, real-world experience that prepared me for moments like this. Helping others understand and succeed in accounting, as I have, makes me feel like I’m truly making a difference. Although I mainly tutored math at the time, the lessons were conducted in a classroom setting, often with one tutor assisting a group of students. This experience helped me develop strong multitasking skills—an essential trait for any tutor.
With all of this in mind, I look forward to helping anyone who is struggling with accounting and wants to improve.
