I have 19 years of classroom teaching experience in grades K-5th. I am certified for grades PK-5, as well as, Special Education. I also have five years ESL online teaching experience. I enjoy tutoring/teaching because I love to see students grow in confidence and develop a genuine excitement for learning. I value good relationships with my students and feel building a rapport with them is an important part to our success in learning.

I enjoy helping students learn, have fun learning, and grow in confidence! Reading/English can open a whole new world to students by learning new vocabulary, developing writing skills, and understanding text structures. It is important to me to learn more about my students and build a rapport with each one. This allows students to feel more comfortable as we have a great time learning together.

I am a certified Special Education teacher grades 1-5, as well as, Pre-K. I have taught students small groups of students in self-contained classrooms and assisted students in their homeroom classes. I have years of experience with ADHD, Autism, and behavior disorders in the classroom environment.
